PURPOSE: A tank corner development modeling method is provided to develop an algorithm specialized in spherical surface development without using a curved surface development function of a computer-aided design (CAD) program, thereby automatically generating data and a drawing. CONSTITUTION: A set of basic information for three adjacent surfaces connected to a tank corner is received (S210). A coordinate of the central point of a spherical triangle comprising the tank corner is obtained by using the basic information (S220). A facial angle for the three adjacent surfaces is calculated by using the coordinate of the central point of the spherical triangle (S230). An apex angle of the spherical triangle is calculated by using the facial angle of the three adjacent surfaces (S240). The tank corner is developed by using the facial angle of the three adjacent surfaces and the apex angle of the spherical triangle (S250). The basic information is about the information for a vertex forming an adjacent surface and the information for the radius length of the spherical triangle.
