PURPOSE: An asymmetry redundant array of independent disks (RAID) storage based system architecture is provided to support low-speed data processing for a host and high-speed data processing for a memory disk at the same time, thereby facilitating maximum high-speed data processing in an existing interface environment. CONSTITUTION: An asymmetry RAID controller (800) is connected to a host computer. A storage drive set is connected to the asymmetry RAID controller and includes different kinds of storage drives. When a data file or a block is stored from the outside to the storage drive set, the asymmetry RAID controller evaluates a storage performance parameter set including waiting time, a processing amount, and a capacity of storage drive sets. The asymmetry RAID controller stores a start part of the data file or the block in a storage drive, which a waiting time parameter is low, and stores the remaining part in the storage drive which the waiting time parameter is high.
