PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently provide assistance by use of a motor by setting the amount of assistance based on the fatigue information actually measured while anticipating the degree of fatigue felt by a driver, in a power-assisted bicycle.SOLUTION: A power-assisted bicycle includes: a leg-power sensor 2 that detects a leg-power caused on the pedal; an assist amount regulating part 10 that determines an assist force in response to the output of the leg-power sensor 2 while having an assist amount correction means that estimates the fatigue of a human body; and a motor 5 that assists in providing drive force by generating the foregoing assist force. This power-assisted bicycle is further equipped with a vehicle speed sensor 1 that detects the speed of the vehicle. The assist amount regulating part 10 comprises a basic assist amount setting part 11 that calculates and sets a basic assist amount from the leg-power and the vehicle speed, and a fatigue strength estimation part 12 that estimates the fatigue strength of the driver and corrects the basic assist amount for an increase or decrease thereof. |
