PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device restraining a size of the entire bearing device in an axial direction while ensuring a radial dynamic pressure groove array and a pumping groove array largely in an axial direction, and further capable of efficiently exhausting air bubbles mixed in lubrication oil downward via a through-hole.SOLUTION: A bearing device includes: a stationary section 3 including a stationary shaft 132 arranged along a central axis extending vertically, and a first cup portion 133 formed of a disk part 133a extending radially outward from the stationary shaft and a cylindrical part 133b projecting downward from an outer edge of the disk part; and a rotary section rotating around the stationary shaft. Meanwhile, a rotating member 141 has an annular recessed part 141d including at least a lower end of the cylindrical part 133b. Therefore, while a radial dynamic pressure groove array 151 and a pumping groove array 154 are ensured largely in an axial direction, a size of the entire bearing device in the axial direction can be restrained. |
