PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminate exterior battery promising manufacture of a high quality laminate exterior battery, by enhancing the sealing reliability, especially on the periphery of a tab, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: Grooves 402A, 403A are formed in a fixed die 40A, and grooves 402B, 403B are formed in a pressing die 40B. A positive electrode tab 14 and a negative electrode tab 15 are fitted in the grooves 402B, 403B, 402A, 403A, the pressing die 40B is pressed against the fixed die 40A, and a first sheet part 200A and second sheet part 200B of a metal laminate sheet 200 are hot pressed between the dies 40B, 40A and sealed internally, thus manufacturing a laminate exterior battery 1. Undue collapse of tab resins 30, 31 is prevented during hot press, by making the grooves 402B, 403B deeper than the grooves 402A, 403A, thus enhancing the sealing reliability. |
