PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that there is a case where a user cannot focus on an intended position of a subject having a non-focus state in a conventional imaging device.SOLUTION: An imaging device comprises: a photographing part that photographs a subject image transmitting a focus lens; an acquisition part that acquires a focus evaluation value to be used for an autofocus operation; a focus control part that, when the subject image is determined to be in a non-focus state where it is not focused on the basis of the focus evaluation value, sequentially moves the focus lens to each of a plurality of lens positions corresponding to a plurality of focus evaluation values satisfying a predetermined condition; and a photograph control part that controls the photographing part so as to repeat execution of a photographing operation in response to the sequential movement of the focus lens.
