METHOD FOR DIAGNOSIS OF OSTEOPOROSIS IN WOMEN WITH HYPERTENSIVE DISEASE COMBINED WITH OSTEOARTHRITIS IN POSTMENOPAUSAL PERIOD

A method for diagnosing osteoporosis in women with hypertension, combined with osteoarthritis in postmenopausal period comprises the determination of structural and functional state of bone by densitometry research. Further markers of bone remodeling – are determined - resorption markers (&bgr;-CTx - &bgr; CrossLaps) and bone formation (osteocalcin and P1NP - procollagen propeptide of type 1). By reducing the densitometry indicators and improvement of P1NP above normal (16.3-73.9 ng/ml) osteoporosis is determined with a high rate of remodeling.
