摘要 PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring burning velocity and quenching distance with a stepped wise diverging channel and a system using the same are provided to simplify a flame form observation process through flame flattening and to immediately recognize the burning velocity by directly reading the position of flames when the position of the flames is checked. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring burning velocity and quenching distance with a stepped wise diverging channel comprises a transparent chamber (110) and a measuring rod (120). The transparent chamber has a hollow hole (112). Fuel gas is supplied into the hollow hole through a gas injection port (114). The measuring rod is installed inside the transparent chamber and has a stepped structure of which diameter is longitudinally changed. Flames generated when the fuel gas supplied into the hollow hole is burned are flattened by the stepped structure of the measuring rod. The gas injection port penetrates the bottom of the transparent chamber.
