PURPOSE: A swash plate type compressor having variable displacement is provided to smoothly transfer the rotational power of an initial driving shaft to a swash plate by omitting the configuration of a lug plate connected to the swash plate and lightening the weight. CONSTITUTION: A swash plate type compressor having variable displacement comprises a driving shaft, a compression support pin, and a swash plate assembly. The driving shaft is supported to be rotated in a cylinder block. The compression support pin is fixed to the driving shaft. The swash plate assembly comprises a hub (30), a swash plate (40), and a sleeve (50). The hub has a driving shaft insertion hole (31) in which the driving shaft is inserted and the swash plate is connected to the hub. The sleeve is installed to be slid to the driving shaft and is connected in the inner surface in order for the hub to be moveable by a hinge. The compression support pin is fixed in a crossing direction relative to the longitudinal direction of the driving shaft. A hinge pin (64) penetrating the compression support pin from the lateral surface and being connected to the hub by the hinge is installed.
