PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which can securely protect data stored in a memory as the memory mounted on a circuit board cannot be removed from an external and from an inside of a printer body when a sealed state is maintained.SOLUTION: A printer includes: a circuit board 8 on which a memory 10 for storing protected information is mounted wherein a part of the memory 10 projects from a base frame 5 of a printer body; a circuit board case 4 in which a projecting part 8b of the circuit board 8 is housed and which is fixed on the base frame 5 by a screw 14; a circuit board holder 17 having a cylindrical part 18 for passing through the circuit board 8 and a cover part 19 for covering the memory 10; and a restricting member 15 for covering a head part of the screw 14. A wire 22 is inserted in the cylindrical part 18, the circuit board case 4, and the restricting member 15, and both end parts of the wire 22 is fixed by a sealing member 23. |
