PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system capable of reading a piece of data stored in an electric apparatus out of the electric apparatus by specifying an address.SOLUTION: A portable terminal device transmits a read out request specifying a specific address, which is a common address among plural electric apparatuses, to obtain a piece of fixed data from a fixed data storage disposed at a specific address of the electric apparatus. The fixed data includes a piece of setting address information which represents an address of a setting storage domain storing a target data as the data to be transmitted to a server. A target data obtaining section of a portable terminal device obtains a piece of setting address information included in the fixed data by specifying a read out address to issue a read out request to a variable storage based on the setting address information. Thereby, the electric apparatus transmits the target data as the read out data. The target data obtaining section obtains the target data from the transmitted read out data and transmits the target data to the server.
