摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactive power compensator suitable even when a distribution system includes a distributed power supply by renewable energy.SOLUTION: A reactive power compensator 1 for generating reactive power depending on voltage fluctuation of a distribution line 100 to suppress the voltage fluctuation of the distribution line 100 comprises: a reactive power compensation unit 3 which receives a voltage signal showing distribution line voltage as input, performs following having a predetermined time delay characteristic, generates a differential value between the distribution line voltage and comparison voltage regulated in a range from a voltage lower limit value to a voltage upper limit value set as a range where no reactive power is generated as fluctuation portion voltage, and generates reactive power depending on the fluctuation portion voltage and supplies the reactive power to the distribution line 100; and a voltage upper and lower limit value calculation unit 2 which has a voltage distribution analysis unit 22 for analyzing the voltage fluctuation of the distribution line 100, generates the voltage lower limit value and voltage upper limit value on the basis of an analysis result of the voltage distribution analysis unit 22, and outputs the values to the reactive power compensation unit 3.
