PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus and a feature word acquiring method in which a feature word forming an appropriate feature space can be selected.SOLUTION: A feature word feature vector generating section 101 acquires a feature vector of each of predetermined feature words and based on a browsing history of contents stored in a browsing history database 106, a user browsing content feature vector generating section 102 acquires a user browsing content feature vector of each of users. Based on the acquired feature word feature vectors and user browsing content feature vectors, a similarity calculating section 103 then calculates the similarity, respectively, for each of combinations of feature words and users. Based on the calculated similarity, a feature word determining section 105 selects a feature word constituting a feature space from among predetermined feature words. |
