PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chain saw configured to allow tension of a saw chain to be adjusted without loosening bolts for fixing a housing and a side cover, and to omit frequently checking the tension of the saw chain.SOLUTION: Tension of a saw chain is adjusted not by sliding a guide cover but by providing a mechanism of directly applying tension to a saw chain by means of an elastic body, to adjust the tension. A tension adjustment device is configured to start after a side cover is attached, so as not to interfere with attachment of the saw chain. |
