POLYPEPTIDE WITH CHONDROGENIC ACTIVITY OF STEM CELL

PURPOSE: A polypeptide which induces differentiation of stem cells into cartilage is provided to create an environment which is suitable for differentiating stem cells into cartilage by collagen mimetic peptides, thereby enhancing differentiation and regenerating cartilage tissues. CONSTITUTION: A polypeptide which induces differentiation of stem cells into cartilage contains a self-assembled peptide with an amino acid sequence of general formula 1 ((alpha beta)_n) and collagen mimetic peptides. The collagen mimetic peptides have an amino acid sequence of general formula 2 ((-glycine-proline-hydroxyproline-)_m). The collagen mimetic peptide is (-glycine-proline-hydroxyproline-)_7.
