PURPOSE: An ignition coil prevents the separation of a diode by forming a protrusion at an insertion groove. CONSTITUTION: An ignition coil includes a primary spool (110), a secondary spool (130), and a diode. The primary spool receives external power and includes a primary wound coil. The secondary spool is inserted into the first spool and includes a secondary coil wound by the action of electromagnetic induction with the primary coil. The diode is installed at the secondary spool and prevents the backflow of a high voltage. An insertion groove in which the diode is inserted is formed at the outside of the secondary spool. The diode is inserted into the insertion groove by pressing the diode and includes a protrusion to prevent the separation of the diode inserted into the insertion groove. |
