PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of more effectively imparting a herbal medicine component by making a herbal medicine material easily arranged in the state of getting closer to a wearer.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 includes a liquid-permeable front-side sheet 10, a liquid-impermeable back-side sheet 20 and an absorber 30; the absorber comprises at least an absorbing core 32 in which pulp fibers are stacked; and a sheet material 80 containing a herbal medicine material is arranged on a skin abutting surface side with respect to the absorbing core 32. Both ends of the sheet material are arranged on the inside with respect to both ends of the absorbing core 32 in the width direction of the absorbent article; a first compressed portion 23, in which the front-side sheet and the absorbing core are compressed in a thickness direction, is formed on the width-direction outside with respect to the sheet material, in the front-side sheet and the absorbing core 32; and a skin nonabutting side surface of the sheet material abuts on the pulp fibers configuring the absorbing core 32. |
