PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quinophthalone pigment monomer (A) satisfying both solvent solubility and fastness (heat resistance, light resistance, and solvent resistance), a coloring polymer (C) using the same, and a colored photosensitive composition using the same; and further to provide a color filter pigment satisfying both solvent solubility and fastness and having good color properties (brightness) and an excellent contrast ratio, a colored composition for a color filter using the same, and a color filter using the same.SOLUTION: A quinophthalone pigment monomer (A) is represented by general formula (1). (In the formula: Q is a quinophthalone pigment; Ris a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; and Xis a bivalent binding group).
