PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing material for solar cells which has characteristics as the sealing material for the solar cells and inhibits the deterioration of the generation efficiency of the cells even when sealing is not performed on end surfaces.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a sealing material for solar cells which is composed of a composition including a polyethylene resin. The composition includes a filler which may absorb and desorb water vapor. This invention also relates to a solar cell module manufactured by the sealing material for the solar cells.
