PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chalcopyrite solar cell which comprises a buffer layer capable of sufficiently improving an open circuit voltage and a curve factor without using Cd, and achieves excellent conversion efficiency, and a manufacturing method of the same.SOLUTION: A buffer layer 22 comprises: a first buffer layer 18 in which lattice mismatch rate with a light absorption layer 16 is 2.5% or less; and a second buffer layer 20 which has an energy level of a conduction band more similar to that of the light absorption layer than ZnO. The first buffer layer 18 preferably consists of (ZnM)Se whose thickness is 10nm or less (where M is at least one kind of Ca, Mg, Sr, Ba, Fe and Mn, and 0≤a≤1). The second buffer layer 20 preferably consists of at least one of Zn(OS)(0<x≤0.7), (ZnMg)O(0<y≤0.5), and In(SO)(0<z≤0.3) whose thickness is in a range between 50 and 200nm. |
