摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system that returns liquid fuel cross-leaking from an anode to a cathode, to a fuel circulation passage while preventing cost increase.SOLUTION: In a gas-liquid separation tank 27, liquid is separated from air that is to be emitted to an air exhaust passage 26. The gas-liquid separation tank 27 is connected to a fuel circulation passage 8 through a recirculation passage 29. In the recirculation passage 29, a gas-liquid separation tank valve 30 is interposed. In the air exhaust passage 26, an air back pressure regulating valve 28 is interposed downstream of the gas-liquid separation tank 27 in an air flow direction. The air back pressure regulating valve 28 regulates pressure in the air exhaust passage 26. When the liquid separated in the gas-liquid separation tank 27 is returned to the fuel circulation passage 8, the air back pressure regulating valve 28 is controlled so as to be opened narrowly. Thus, pressures in the air exhaust passage 26 and in the gas-liquid separation tank 27 are increased. After the pressure increase, the gas-liquid separation tank valve 30 is opened.
