PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk brake device capable of controlling an amount of a clearance between a piston and a propulsion member properly at a termination time of a releasing operation of a parking brake.SOLUTION: In a disk brake device, when a releasing operation of a parking brake is performed, a control means for controlling drive of an electric motor detects that a pair of an inner and outer brake pads is released from the disk on the basis of a current value of the electric motor at the time when holding of a piston by a piston holding mechanism is released, and after that, the drive of the electric motor is stopped when an integral value of rotational speed of the electric motor reaches to a predetermined value, thereby performing the release operation of the parking brake successfully. |
