PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for the excellent practice of fusion between an electric fusion joint and a tubular material, while preventing variation in a pitch between heating wires in a process of manufacturing an electric fusion joint.SOLUTION: A coated heating wire 20 is used for manufacturing electric fusion joints. The coated heating wire 20 includes: heating wire 21; a coated part 22 of synthetic resin that covers the heating wire 21; a quadrilateral part 23 whose cross-section forms a rectangle at which the coated part 22 orthogonally intersects the longitudinal direction of the heating wire 21; and a protrusion part 24 projecting from one side of the quadrilateral part 23. |
