PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition in which a resol-type phenolic resin, that can allow rubber to have excellent curability when blended in the rubber and that can impart high elastic modulus to the rubber composition without deteriorating the toughness or the elongation thereof, is blended.SOLUTION: A rubber composition contains rubber, silica and the resol-type phenolic resin. The content of the silica is 30-90 parts mass and the content of the resol-type phenolic resin is 1-30 parts mass on the basis of 100 parts mass of the rubber. |
