PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress leakage of grease from an opening to an outside by preventing exposure of the opening formed in a hammer case to the outside in a power tool having a switching mechanism between a mode permitting a hammer retreating movement and a mode blocking it.SOLUTION: A power tool having an impact mechanism portion including a hammer 24 and an anvil 30 includes a switching mechanism 35 of two impact modes, i.e., a mode where the hammer 24 rides over the anvil 30 to perform hitting and fastening and a mode where the hammer 24 performs hitting without riding over the anvil 30. The switching mechanism 35 is configured by including a stopper 41 and a pusher 45 arranged in a rear of the hammer 24. The stopper 41 is moved by turning the pusher 45 to perform switching. In a change member 48 for turning the pusher 45, a change lever 48b is located outside a hammer case 32. The change member 48 and an annular portion 46 are engaged with each other in a housing. |
