A method for digital signature generation and verification in the form of an electronic code based on recurrent sequences provides decrease of computational complexity of an electron signature formation procedure and comprises computation of recurrent sequences elements with a particular index, the particular index is based on recurrent relationships having coefficients associated with the initial elements of sequences wherein the recurrent relationship coefficients, initial elements and elements of sequences produced by the relationships can be any whole number without additional conditions and limitations.
