Disclosed is a twin rope winch structure with twin drive and high torque for a plate inserting machine, relating to the technical field of plate inserting machine winch apparatuses. A winch (7) is respectively connected to one end of a first steel rope (14) and a second steel rope (15), and the first steel rope (14) and the second steel rope (15) respectively begin winding from the two ends of the winch (7). The other end of the first steel rope (14) is connected to a steel sleeve (2) via a top pulley block (1), and the other end of the second steel rope (15) is connected to the steel sleeve (2) via a tensioning pulley block (3) and a lower pulley block (9). A winch drum (8) is provided on the winch (7), with the two ends of the winch drum (8) respectively provided with a first planetary speed reducer (11) and a second planetary speed reducer (13). The first planetary speed reducer (11) is connected to a first motor (10) and the second planetary speed reducer (13) is connected to a second motor (12). The invention achieves the aims of a simple structure, being suitable for various soil structures, having high motive power, and self-adaptive tensioning.
