FIELD: process engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Proposed method comprises feeding of metal from steel teeming ladle into pony ladle and, further, into die, drawing the billet from said die and cooling it in secondary cooling zone with soft reduction by pairs of rolls.
