PURPOSE: A pixel structure for electrowetting display device and the manufacturing method thereof are provided to enhance the response speed. CONSTITUTION: A pixel structure for electrowetting display device comprises a first display base board (100), a second upper base board (200) facing the first display base board, and a fluid layer (300). The first display base board includes a first base board (2) and a pixel unit formed on the first base board. The second upper base board includes a second base board (40) and spaces (38) arranged along the edge of a common electrode (46). The first display base board and the second upper base board have a partition wall (36) in between the first and second base boards by a filling having hydrophobicity fluid (40) and hydrophillic fluid (42).
