PURPOSE: A space information system and an operating method thereof are provided to confirm a photographing direction of an external camera by correcting an error between a camera direction on a map and a direction of an external camera. CONSTITUTION: A map processing unit (130) outputs a map which indicates multiple cameras which correspond to multiple external cameras. A video processing unit (120) outputs an image which is photographed from external cameras. A conversion processing unit (150) produces a correction value about each of multiple external cameras. The conversion processing unit receives information which selects a camera and information which selects a first point indicating the photographing direction of the camera. A camera driving unit (140) controls a driving of an external camera by responding to a first control signal.
