PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ballast water treatment apparatus using a transportation container, which can store various devices for treating ballast water and fix a transportation container to a hull using container fixing hardware arranged in a ship.SOLUTION: A ballast water treatment apparatus 11 using a transportation container 12 includes: various devices 13, 14 for treating ballast water; and a transportation container 12 for storing all the devices 13, 14. In the transportation container 12, the length of an external dimension is the same as that of the transportation container of a regular shape and the height H of the external dimension is formed to be higher than that of the transportation container of the regular shape or the width W of the external dimension is formed to be wider than that of the transportation container of the regular shape.
