PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining method in which heating is performed while stabilizing the temperature of eutectic joining, and high strength joining of the copper tube and the aluminum tube is performed in such a manner that the joining area of a copper tube and an aluminum tube is sufficiently secured, and the joined tube thereby.SOLUTION: In a method for joining a copper tube and an aluminum tube, the diameter-reduced part 9 of a copper tube 3 formed at one end part is inserted into the end part of an aluminum tube 5, and heating is performed from the outer circumference of the aluminum tube 5 in a state where the copper tube 3 and the aluminum tube 5 are mutually pressed in an axial direction. A mandrel 11 inserted from the other end part of the copper tube 3 is moved to the diameter-reduced part 9 to expand the diameter-reduced tube 9, and the outer circumferential face of the diameter-reduced part 9 and the inner circumferential face of the aluminum tube 5 are made to tightly adhere to be joined. The joined tube of copper and aluminum is also provided. |
