PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect system disconnecting/connecting means, such as a fuse of an electric power system extending from a power storage device to an electric motor, against an overcurrent by suppressing output variation of the electric motor.SOLUTION: A phase current command value Ipccom and a phase current allowed value Ipcp are compared with each other to predict behavior of an electric motor 12 before the electric motor 12 is actually controlled, and a current Ibat drawn from a power storage device 14 is thereby limited. Consequently, system disconnecting/connecting means, such as a fuse 16 of an electric power system extending from the power storage device 14 to the electric motor 12 is protected against an overcurrent by suppressing output variation of the electric motor 12. |
