PRODUCING OF POLYSACCHARIDE COMPLEX WITH ANTIHISTAMINE ACTIVITY

摘要

A method for producing herbal substance with antigistamine activity comprises the extraction of biologically active substances with 70% ethanol. The resultant alcoholic extract is filtered through filter paper and concentrated under vacuum to a thick residue extracted with hot water. Water extract is filtered through filter paper under vacuum, concentrated to 1/ 5 of the volume and polysaccharides are precipitated with 96 % ethyl alcohol. The polysaccharide precipitate is filtered through paper filter, polysaccharides are dried in air until a thick viscous mass.
