PURPOSE: A multi-level inverter control device is provided to supply an effect reducing the whole cost of a device by using a low performance cell control unit. CONSTITUTION: A multi-level inverter control device controls a multi-level inverter and a multi-level inverter includes a plurality of phase inverters. A control device includes a main control unit (10) and a cell control unit (14). The main control unit transmits phase-delayed reference waves (A1-A6) to the phase inverters. The cell control unit is provided to the phase inverters. The main control unit transmits the reference waves to each cell control unit and the cell control unit compares them with a triangle wave (B) to transmit a pulse width (PWM) control signal to an inverter unit (13).
