PURPOSE: An organic solar cell including a buffer layer with dispersed gold nanoparticles and a manufacturing method thereof improve the energy conversion efficiency of the organic solar cell by dispersing gold nanoparticles to one surface of both surfaces of the buffer layer. CONSTITUTION: A first electrode (110), a buffer layer (120), a photoelectric conversion layer (130), and a second electrode (140) are successively laminated. Gold nanoparticles (121) are dispersed to one surface of the buffer layer. The gold nanoparticles are additionally dispersed to the other surface of the buffer layer. Isopropyl alcohol is added when the gold nanoparticles are dispersed. The second electrode is made of aluminum or metal having a work function lower than that of the first electrode.
