PURPOSE: An automatic exchange system including a card and a method thereof are provided to enable a user to use one card in a plurality of countries by automatically changing money stored in the card into local money in an exchange terminal which receives an information modification file. CONSTITUTION: A transmission center(200) transmits information modification file which indicates the change of information stored in a card. An exchange terminal(202) stores the information modification file received from the transmission center. The exchange terminal changes money stored in a card(204) into a currency unit indicated from the information modification file. The card provides the stored money to a card terminal.
