PURPOSE: A wire rope cleaning jig is provided to scrape high viscosity grease or grease attached to an extended wire rope and to enable continuous cleaning without pausing the wire rope. CONSTITUTION: A wire rope cleaning jig comprises a wiper assembly (3), a rotary supporting member (26), a scraper (7), and a cover. The wiper assembly includes a resin wiper, a metal plate, and reinforcing members. The reinforcing members compressively fix the resin wiper in vertical and central directions. The scraper scrapes an attachment of a wire rope. A wire rope cleaning jig relatively moves the wire rope from the metal plate to the resin wiper. |
