PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood purifier enabling an operator to perform an operation and work corresponding to the last stage of blood return.SOLUTION: A blood purifier includes: a blood circuit which enables extracorporeal circulation of the blood of a patient from the front end of an arterial blood circuit 1 to the front end of a venous blood circuit 2; a dialyzer 3 for purifying blood flowing through the blood circuits; and a replacement fluid supply means capable of supplying a replacement fluid into the blood circuits. The blood purifier returns blood by replacing the blood in the blood circuits by the replacement fluid supplied from the replacement fluid supply means after treatment. The blood purifier includes: blood determining means 13, 14 which are arranged at predetermined positions of the arterial blood circuit 1 or the venous blood circuit 2 and can detect the presence or absence of the blood flowing through the blood circuit 1 or 2 at the predetermined position; and a recognizing means 17 which can recognize the last stage of blood return in a state where the replacement using the replacement fluid is soon completed on the basis of the presence or absence of the blood detected by the blood determining means 13, 14. |
