PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a salivary secretion accelerating instrument capable of improving measuring accuracy in a saliva examination by promoting the secretion of saliva in a person subjected to the saliva examination.SOLUTION: In order to accelerate sampling of saliva from an object person, a salivary secretion accelerating instrument 10 is used. The salivary secretion accelerating instrument 10 comprises stimulating sections 11-14 for transferring stimuli from the surface of the skin to salivary glands of the object person, and a frame section 15 which holds the stimulating sections while disposing them in such positions where stimuli can be transferred to the salivary glands, on the skin of the object person. The frame section 15 includes a base member 15e and a plurality of arm members 15a-15d extending therefrom. The arm members 15a-15d include projections functioning as stimulating sections 11-14 in the distal ends thereof and the skin of the object person is pressed with the projections by utilizing elastic force stored by elastic deformation. |
