PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact packaging apparatus which enables a user to easily take out a cushioning material from a carton.SOLUTION: A packaging apparatus is constituted of a rectangular parallelepiped cushioning material having a housing portion for an object to be packaged, and a carton formed having a rectangular parallelepiped shape having an opening/closing hole in one side surface and inserting the cushioning material from the opening/closing hole to achieve packaging. The cushioning material is provided with a holding recess opening from one side part of the side surface located on the opening/closing mouth side of the carton when performing packaging using the carton to a surface adjacent to the side surface and extending to an inner depth side. The holding recess is provided with a finger recess opening in depth and width large enough to insert several fingers other than a thumb, and receiving the fingertip inserted into the inner part of the holding recess can be put. |
