PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an appropriate cruise control function irrespective of the attribute and driving characteristics of a driver.SOLUTION: A cruise control apparatus 69 includes: a vehicle speed sensor 41 detecting a current speed of an own vehicle; a target speed setting unit 67 setting a target speed of the own vehicle; acceleration and deceleration operation amount acquisition units 51, 53 acquiring an operation amount of acceleration or deceleration of the own vehicle by a driver; and a cruise control unit 69 performing cruise control of the own vehicle so that the current speed follows the target speed. When the operation amount acquired by the acceleration and deceleration operation amount acquisition units 51, 53 is maintained in a predetermined range exceeding a predetermined amount beyond a predetermined time, the target speed setting unit 67 updates the target speed to the speed of the own vehicle based on the operation amount. |
