PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a break for collecting a suspended article on an electric wire with a simple structure, which does not use a commercial torque limiter.SOLUTION: A break includes: rollers 4 and 5 with grooves journaled on a substrate 1; an operation lever 7 adhered to a rotation shaft 6 and rotating between a braking position and a non-breaking position; an arm 9 adhered to the rotation shaft 6 at a base end; a supporting shaft 13 fixed to the arm 9 at one end; and a braking roller 14 journaled on the supporting shaft 13 so as to adjust rotation resistance. The breaking roller 14 opposes to the rollers 4 and 5 with grooves to clip an electric wire W when the operation lever 7 is at the breaking position. A pull spring 19 exceeds a dead point to energize the operation lever 7 to rotate to the breaking position while the operation lever 7 rotates from the non-breaking position to the breaking position, and energizes the breaking roller 14 to approach the roller 5 with a groove. The breaking roller 14 is a columnar metallic material with a rubber coating material 15, has both side surfaces clipped by a friction plate 16 made by Bakelite, and is fastened by a lock nut 18 screwed with the supporting shaft 13 through a spring washer 17. |
