PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system which is capable of appropriately providing advertisement information in consideration of a polarity of news information.SOLUTION: An information providing system 1 converts advertisement information and news information from a text form to a conversation form to provide them to a user. The news information includes news information having a positive sensitive polarity to give a positive impression to the user and news information having a negative sensitive polarity to give a negative impression to the user. The information providing system 1 selects news information relevant to advertisement information provided to the user, as news information to be provided to the user. When news information having a positive sensitive polarity is selected, advertisement information is provided together with the news information. When news information having a negative sensitive polarity is selected, advertisement information is not provided together with the news information and/or news information different from the news information is provided. |
