PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker capable of controlling deterioration of a packing and maintaining high sealing performance and pot pressing force and a cooking apparatus equipped with the same.SOLUTION: A rice cooker includes an inner pot 40 having an inner pot flange 41 formed by protruding an exterior edge outward in a substantially horizontal direction, a rice cooker body 10 having a casing 1 formed with an opening port 3 for storing the inner pot 40, a lid 60 for freely openably/closably covering the opening port 3, and a packing 50 disposed radially outward from the opening port 3 at the upper surface of the casing 1 and pressed by the lid 60. The lid 60 includes an inner pot pressing section 62 for pressing an upper surface of the casing 1 via the inner pot flange 41, and a lid flange 61 for pressing the upper surface of the casing 1 which is located radially outward from the upper surface. |
