METHOD FOR TREATMENT OF ACUTE EMPYEMA AND PREVENTION OF CHRONIZATION THEREOF

A method for treating acute empyema and prevention chronization thereof comprises flow-through aspiration-lavage of the pleural cavity and local antiseptic and antibiotic therapy . The aspiration- flow-through washing of pleural cavity and local antiseptic and antibiotic therapy are combined and aspiration- flow-through washing is performed in the pleural cavity with ozone saline 400 ml of dissolved ozone concentration of 1700-1800 mg/l . Between washes instillation with oil "Ozonide" is performed in the cavity in amount of 30.0 ± 5.0 ml concentration of ozonides 20.0 ± 2.0 mg/l. Daily stimulation of local immunity is performed by intrapleural small autogemoozonotherapy with reinfusion with extracorporeal ozone autoblood of a patient in amount of 10.0 ml with ozone concentration of 10-12 mg/l.
