FIELD: physics.SUBSTANCE: device for calibrating and verifying dosimeters consists of a balance arm, a post on which a gate is mounted, the post resting on the end of the balance arm which is balanced by a load and is pivotally connected to a bar, which is also pivotally connected by the other end to the housing of a lead container at a certain angle which provides tight adjoining of the gate to the surface of the container. The device is actuated by a crank mechanism and a pusher which is connected to the crank mechanism and corresponding hinges to the balance arm; the shaft of the crank mechanism is actuated by a lever by manually turning it 180 degrees.EFFECT: wider field of use, high accuracy of dose measurements, providing radiation safety.2 dwg |
