PURPOSE: A laminated ceramic electronic component for preventing the inflow of plating solutions and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to increase a capacity by forming a middle layer between an external electrode and a plating layer. CONSTITUTION: An internal electrode and a dielectric layer are alternatively laminated on a ceramic body. An external electrode is formed outside the ceramic body. A middle layer (31b,32b) is formed on the external electrode. The middle layer includes one or more of nickel, copper, and a nickel-copper alloy. A plating layer is formed on the middle layer.
