PURPOSE: An otoscopy apparatus and a method for checking the middle ear using the same are provided to improve the accuracy of an examination by obtaining a moving picture about an eardrum in real time. CONSTITUTION: An air blocking member is inserted into an ear canal. An air injecting unit (110) injects air into the ear canal. A part of an image measuring unit (120) is inserted into the air blocking member. The image measuring unit measures the movement image of an eardrum. An information processing unit (160) senses the movement of the eardrum through the movement image of the eardrum.
