PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device capable of efficiently informing a user of a plurality of pieces of error information while saving power.SOLUTION: A printing device includes a light emitting means for performing both light emission showing one error and light emission showing other errors when both one error and other errors are generated, a detecting means for detecting whether or not display relating to detail information to be at least one of the name of and a release method for the error to one or other errors is indicated, a display means for performing display relating to the detailed information of the indicated one or other errors, and a control means. The control means performs the supply of the power to the display means and starts display relating to detailed information by the display means when detecting the indication of the display relating to the detailed information by the detecting means. |
